Bio: Attended bootcamp in Jan od 2008. At the age of 23. 2 Afghanistan combat deployments with 2nd Bat 3rd Mar div. 0341 mortarman squad leader as Lance Corporal on 09-10 deployment. Served as 0341 mortarman squad leader again as Cpl on 10-11 deployment.
Description of Injury: Stepped on IED while on foot patrol on Mar 23 2011. In Nawa district in Southern Hellman Province. Double above knee amputee. Fractured right elbow. TBI, PTSD, genital wounds. Thoracic surgery. Abdominal surgery.
Injuries: Double above knee amputee. Right arm limitations.
MC Experience: Grew up riding dirt bikes from age 5 to adult. Was able to ride my mom's dyna glide Harley just prior to getting injured. Freedom to ride a motorcycle is one thing I do miss and often think about. Riding a bike would be another piece of the puzzle that has been missing.
